We love this story! When my daughter was younger she wanted this story read to her, and now at bedtime Jackson wants the "A Plump and Perky Turkey" read to him. It is a cute story how an appetizing turkey eludes being the main course on Thanksgiving. My kids love bedtime when they can pick out a story. It is always cute (and surprising) when they pick the same story over and over. Jackson still wants me to read the story about Dagmar. The vampire that loves candy in "Vunce Upon a Time." A Plump and Perky Turkey is available in the Scholastic Book Club orders that school's give students to help classrooms earn books. The price is right, around $5.95.
