Hello to one of my favorite times of the year! I just love the beginning of Fall! Last weekend Jackson and I put up the
Halloween lights and they look so good in the late evening... the orange and purple glow! So much fun. I'd like to freeze time right now and totally enjoy it! But, hey I just want to share a book I came across while shopping in the
Pottery Barn Kids store. The book is titled "
Vunce Upon a Time." It is the story of a "real" vampire who wants to go trick or treating because he loves candy. At first he makes his own costume, but that does
not work out. So he decides he already kinda looks like he is in costume (
vampire) and tries trick
or treating as himself. He ends up meeting another trick or
treater and they become friends. My son has me read this book to him every night since I bought it! The artwork is very similar to "
Olive, the Other Reindeer." I picked the book up at Pottery Barn Kids they are selling it 20%off or it is also available at
Amazon.com. A great way to begin the month of "terror!" Happy October!
