A quick peek at a fast project for the store this Thursday. Scrappin' Good Times, every Thursday, has a quick project you can make in less than twenty minutes. The projects, usually priced around $5, can vary. Some are cards, candy wrappers, place cards, frames, tags... cute little "mini" projects that can easily be duplicated at home and made for your friends. This Thursday I created a magnetic photo mosaic. On chipboard with magnetic backings, the front is a display of a Christmas memory. The photo is of my sister and her husband at Christmas dinner last year, slipped inside of a Christmas Tree. I used the Making Memories Fa La La paperline. Cut the paper to resemble a quilt, stapled an office file tag to the top, used some "pop dots" to give some depth to the design... and thus a cute "gift" to give grandma, used as a "save the date" for an upcoming holiday gathering. I liked this project also, as a craft for the Scouts. We are always looking for a quick craft that can be made during our meetings (within an hour), in which the Scout can take home at the conclusion of the meeting.
