Mom's Day 2004

Going through the photo's I have from previous Mother's Day, I came across these two from 2004. These are the only pictures we took that year? Curious as to why? Was I not feeling well? Did I not think Mother's Day was special if it was not in a restaurant? Is it because if the women don't plan it then it is all last minute and we are not able to get a reservation? We used to go to McCormick and Schmicks in Pasadena every year with all the Mom's (My Mom and Mother in Law). Now we just celebrate it with my side of the family and have to have a separate get together for David's Mom... So I decided to scrapbook these two photo's even though it does not really tell a whole lot. I used the Laura Ashley paper from the Blue Collection. The flower die cuts are from Marcella K at Target. The purse with the flowers was my gift that year from my sister in law. It is a ceramic purse with a handle and you put your flowers inside of it with the water. Cute. The kids had a chocolate chip pancake breakfast. They LOVED it!
