Lauren's Summer to Remember...

Lauren's three week trip to Europe has come to an end! She has cultivated some new friendships and she is looking forward to the reunion picnic in September. Some highlights of her trip were the stops in England to Buckingham Palace and the Windsor Castle. The group spent the night in the tent community just outside the castle and enjoyed a firework show, that Lauren said was just "unbelieveable!"

Each group (there were three groups) rode in the London Eye, the world's tallest ferris wheel. Each group went up in their own "pod." The pictures from the top are amazing! The London Eye is 464 feet high!

Lauren's favorite place (of the six countries: France, Belgium, Holland, England, Wales and Ireland) they visited was Ireland. She thought this country was so beautiful. So green. They stayed on a farm and helped with the animals, made scones, and enjoyed the country side. She went to Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone! Good luck and the gift of gab! Truly an amazing three weeks for her. A trip to remember for a lifetime. I'll have to share my layouts as I finish them!
